Patch - update failed with error cannot read property '0'

Should status after a patch say failed with error and should we assume patch 24 was not installed based on the X under applied?

We went live with X3 on 6/1 after using 100 for many years. We are having some issues and are being told this is normal? Doesn't seem right to me so want to get some feedback. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Other than the patches not installing?

This error has come up on now 2 specific work orders and 1 service request (today). At first it was just me getting and I narrowed it down to a specific work order. About a week later multiple users in our warehouse were getting on different work orders but if we validated MFG objects it would clear. Now we have a second work order that it will not clear from and the service request.

It started after a component only upgrade was done in hopes of resolving some scan gun errors we are having. We don't know if it is something a user is doing or corrupted data and no one can determine root cause.

This made us wonder if their was an issue with any of our patches and prompted my question on the error it shows.

This probably won't help but can you post the technical detail?

The update error in Syracuse does not always give the full or true error. Have look under the function Development > Utilities > Patches > Updates.

Click on the elipses in the catalog and read both log files.
