We currently use ExakTime.  It works well for what we need.  The two issues that we have are that the web application is slow and that it is expensive.  It costs us less for outstide payroll processing than it does for the timekeeping from Exaktime.

Hi Nikki, I'm curious to know more about your Exaktime/Sage integration.  We've been using Exaktime and I know it must use a location/job to sync hours into Sage.  My issue is that we have had to create Admin and Overhead jobs in order to collect time and sync to do payroll. Now the issue is that Sage is identifying everything with a Job number as a direct expense, which is not the case for admin and overhead labor costs.  Is this an issue for you and how do you work around it?

We only use Exaktime for our field employees.  A workaround would be to set up an indirect cost job for the year and put the cost codes you want for indirect costs as what the employees pick when the clock in and out.  So basically, a dummy job for all your indirect costs.
