Previous Year's Employee Hours Missing

SOLVED

Hello, I've been working on a custom export where I need a list of employees that have worked over 500 hours for 2019. While testing, I run the report in my current year company and everything is great. I go back to my 2019 company file to run the custom export and what I get is random employees with hours such as 4.12487e. I check in Maintain Employees>choose an employee>Totals and all I get is 0 for all hours except for those random employees, which show 4.1e under Regular hours.

How do I fix this?

Did you upgrade BW after 2020 began?  Database update? Was the upgrade performed on the older data?

I believe the upgrade was after 2020 began. Is there a way that I can tell how the upgrade was applied? I apologize, I'm very new to upgrading BW and I have only watched my boss do it once.

This is unusual though, correct? If I know that this is not supposed to happen, and there's no easy fix, I could probably just have my boss call and get it resolved that way. I don't want it to escalate to that but if we must, we must.

The way to tell is to LOGIN to the Company, If its not converted, it will ask to convert. (or should ask)

If you are connecting via ODBC in Excel / Access without converting, I would suspect you may see garbage data

Also, see about updating the DSN - see the program in the Sage BusinessWorks (start menu)

Only a few idea's about the data weirdness

    Otherwise contact support
