So, so I have a custom report to display a list of costs, and each list displays the total cost per category and there is a navigate function using the on-demand subreport to display detailed costs per category. when I want to export the custom report to excel for summing, the column cannot be summed. this is because the on-demand subreport caption that I use to display the cost per category must output a string value. My question is, is it possible to use a number value, so that when it is exported to excel it can be sum() and what is the best practice? Thank You.
