Issue:
When trying to create a user via the User function on employee screen, Navigation: Personnel administration> Employee> Users, we get an error on the reference user:
Reference user does not exist (V9) as seen in the screen shot blow
The Login to create is empty (V12) as seen on this screen shot below
Resolution: Please follow the steps below
- Ensure that the reference user has both Administration and setup users.
- Administration> users> new
- Setup> users> new
- Ensure that the user is linked to the folder in question on the Administrator user.
- Ensure that the reference user you will be using is linked to an employee.
Creating the user: Personnel Administration> Employee> User
Select Yes to create a user
Select the correct reference user from the list by selecting the magnifying glass and select the user sequence
Select OK
The following log reading will appear if the user is successfully created.
The user will then be created on the setup users
