Issue:

When trying to capture backdated leave either on the payroll via Entry of absence or Portal you get an error message stopping the transaction. The following error occurs event for 'Normal Hours' already entered for this date .

Solution:

Normal hours are created in the Adjustment function (TPSSTDR) when you run a time cut-off for all the days where no leave transactions are captured.

To correct this:

Delete the Normal Hour transaction on that day on the Adjustment function (TPSSTDR) to be able to capture a transaction again.
