There are many variables that one has to take into consideration e.g. size of the database, any customizations on screens, reports etc.

System is fairly standard with some customization.

However, we were quoted 500 hours to do the update from our BP. We feel this is crazy.

Does this sound average?

I'm looking for an estimate so that we can determine if the 500 hours are inline.
