Latest Update - 2020 Update 1d (Released 23 August 2019)

2020 Update 1d has been released on our Download Manager.  The download manager is always available in app by navigating to Utility, Weblinks, Download Latest Version.  Click here to view our guide to install this update.

2020 Update 1d is incredibly important for any client that uses Pastel Payroll to calculate ETI.  For more information regarding this please read the below Sage City Article:

After updating, you have to run a legislative release 

Note: Microsoft has stopped their support for windows XP and Server 2003 in 2014 and 2015 respectively.  Due to this, these Operating systems can’t install the .Netframework required for running Payroll and doesn’t  have access to the new fonts used on our update. As of 2018 Update 3, the Payroll program will no longer work on these operating systems.  For more details on what products we can support please click here.

  • I am running 2020 update 1b, but when I run the Payroll2020Update1dfromUpdate1b.exe I get the message "This update is not valid for the version of Pastel Payroll you have installed". Any suggestions?

    Hi Glen,

    My suggestion is that you uninstall your current version and run the full install.

    With that being said, I would appreciate it if you email us a screenshot of your Programs & Features screen so we can see the version of your Pastel Payroll 2020 update 1b before installing 1d's full install.  You can email us on [email protected]
