Trying to copy an object from live folder to test folder - access issue

SOLVED

Hi ,

I'm trying to copy an object from the production folder to a test folder to try some code, but I am gettting an insufficient access rights message. I went to Folders function and in the testfolder (links tab), all other folders are greyed out as No access. How can I change this such that I can copy this object?

Thanks.

On the General Tab, is your Test Folder marked as a "Test Folder"? It looks like that's the only one on my system that I can change.

    Hi Glen,

The test folder is not marking as "Test Folder" (none of them are).

    Thx

You most likely need to go to the Setup, GENERAL PARAMETERS, Folders (GESADS)on the Links tab and add the folder to the Access rights to the folder section.

There is some additional information in the functional help. There is also a knowledgebase article ID 33241 (Error: "Access rights to this folder not sufficient" when attempting to copy something from one folder to another.

    Hi Casey,

I can't seem to find that article on the knowledgebase. How do you search by article ID? Would you be able to send me the link/document?

    Thanks,
