Folder validation on Sage X3 V11 Patch 13 takes forever to complete. The process is taking over 6 hours after which the server will not be accessible.

IT team will have to restart it and the validation will have to be started afresh. The applcation and database servers are separate and there doesn't seem to be any abnormalities in resource usage on both servers and no issues in event viewer logs after the IT changed the server and increased resources (RAM, CPU cores, Disk IOPS etc).

Has anyone faced similar issue before and how did you resolve it?

Is there a trace file that we can check to see what is happening behind the scenes causing the server to hang while running the folder validation?
