We're new to Sage EM and I've struggled to understand when calculated data should start appearing for products. We migrated from Sage 300 and brought over years of demand history which shows up in demand forecasts (data is there all the way back to 2011). We also entered a year's supply of products into the reorder threshold and safety stock fields in the product-site records.

When I run statistical reordering I get insufficient stock if trying to calculate reorder threshold, EOQ, etc. Even if I change the setup to start at 0 months history and run it against products that we sell daily it still doesn't calculate a single piece of data.

Is there some prerequisite that I'm not understanding here? We had Sage PSG on-site so we had Sage functional consultants but I'm still unclear as to when/how the calculated data appears. We can get by temporarily on the entered data for a year's supply that we brought over, but we very much need for the data to start being calculated based on actual sales.

We manufacture and purchase so we use a mix of ROP and MRP in our setup. Neither manufactured items nor purchased for resale items are being calculated.

I'm also a bit confused on demand forecasts as sales in Sage EM aren't showing up there. Am I mistaken about the demand forecasts functionality? I assume it would populate with sales as we go forward.
