From Sage Desktop, navigate to Common Tasks > File > Company Settings > General and change the name that appears there. This is the name that appears in the heading of most reports.  

Financial Statement Designs may retrieve the name stored under General Ledger > Setup > Prefix/Base and the hierarchy of the GL setup structure listed there. Those identifying names are accessible from within the Financial Statement Designer program.  

If you do not see the menu items described, you may not have security permission to access those items. If so, see your Sage 300 CRE administrator.

We have changed Company name From common tasks >File > company settings > general settings , but it is not affected the reporting header . Crystal report file is not affected by this change . Is there a way to change headers in crystal reports.

It looks like the company name was hardcoded in the report design rather than retrieving the company name from the control file. If you have a license for Crystal Reports, open the report design and manually change the name where it appears. If you don't have Crystal Reports, then your consultant or any consultant can make those changes for you. How many reports do you have that need to be changed?

We do have licensed crystal reports . We have many reports to be edited like Cash voucher, payment voucher, pay slip ..etc. I tried to edit the reports manually , but it did not work . Can you brief me the steps or any methods ?

When you say "I tried to edit the reports manually", are you confirming that you opened the report designs in Crystal Reports, found the TEXT field with the company name and changed the TEXT in the box? Or perhaps the Company name is included in a formula.  You should save a copy of the report using a modified name (such as adding "Bak" to the end of the report name)  before you make any changes. Then confirm that you are working on the original report name that is referenced for the Report Menu listing. Click Report Manager at the top of the Reports listing in any application, and find the menu item used to produce the report and click "Change" to view the actual report design name.

In crystal reports app, i found "*.rpt" file and i edited the text containing company header in the box and changed manually and saved same file . Database integration is the trickier part for me . Our company located in Bahrain , middle east. Will you be able to provide remote session ?

Did changing the text field for company name resolve that issue? You mention "database integration" as "trickier" for you. That seems to be a separate training issue beyond the scope of my offer to help you make the changes to company name. Do I correctly understand your most recent reply?
