LOCAL TAX CALCULATION

SUGGESTED

Hello

In my place I have some local taxes for professional services, i need to create like a "rule" that calculates the 10% tax for professional service or the 6% is a waiver certificate is provided, from the total amount of the invoice.  This calculation needs to  have a starting and ending date, since tax certificates have an annual renewal.

Is this possible?

Sales Taxes in Sage 50 do not have dates associated with them - they are perpetual, until changed. Also, you can't have an IF-THEN formula imbedded within a Sales Tax Agency in Sage 50, except for Surtax Limits. You can use the Action Items within Sage 50 to set reminders for each Customer, based on your Starting and Ending Dates, so that you would know when to change the Sales Tax ID associated with their account (for renewals).
