Does Sage 300 ERP 2014 support Crystal Reports 2013?
Hi Zara,
At this time, Sage has only tested Crystal Report Writer version 2011 with Sage 300 ERP 2012 and ERP 2014
Regards,
Louis
Is there an update on this? Crystal Reports 2011 is not compatible with Windows Server 2012 and Crystal Reports 2013 is required.
Who told it wasn't compatible? I'm using it right now. In fact, Crystal 2008 also runs fine on Server 2012.
After a couple of failed attempts at installing Crystal 2011 and messing up the Sage 300 ERP Crystal Runtimes, requiring reinstallation of SM, SAP confirmed that 2013 is required.
Here's my post from the Partner Forum:
Crystal Reports 2011 SP2
Windows Server 2012 (64 bit)
Sage 300 ERP 2012 PU4
Terminal Server
Installation as administrator in install mode
Has anyone encountered errors, such as the one below, attempting to install Crystal Reports in the above noted environment?
Error: Unable to access jarfile C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects XI 4.0\java\lib\InstallEntDfoWrapper.jar
I've had no other problems installing any other applications on this server. Any suggestions or guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
I have CR2011 installed on multiple Win2012 servers.
SAP will say that you need the latest version, they want to make money.
Why do you need CR installed on a server anyway?
Client is running in a TS environment with Sage installed on server.
I need to make changes to reports remotely.
I can't get past the error I posted above and the IT folks can't find the source of the error, and therefore cannot install Crystal 2011. I can't keep *attempting* installs and breaking client's Sage 300.
Ettienne, what SP of Crystal 2011 are you running on your Win 2012 Servers?
None - just the bone stock CR 2011 install. I have it on several Win2012 and never a problem.
Was that ever resolved?
Sage ERP 2014 support Crystal 2013 reports?
You don't need Crystal installed to run reports, only to edit them.
