instructions for workstation setup?

In the Sage300ERP_InstallationGuide.pdf there is a bit of information about workstation setup but no details about how to actually do it.   Am I missing something?  

Yes, I do know how to do a workstation setup now but only by trial and error.  Maybe it should have been obvious but I didn't realize at first that the program location was supposed to point to the server's program files.

  • Share the Sage 300 folder on the server, then on the workstation browse to \\server\<Sage 300 share>\WSSETUP. Right-click on SETUP.EXE and select Run As Administrator. The Program and Shared Data settings should default to the Sage 300 share on the server - if that is correct then proceed. Note that programs are run from the Sage 300 shared folder on the server.
