Is Sage 300 ERP 21014 compatible with SQL Server 2016?

An existing client Is running Sage 300 ERP 21014 and would like to migrate their SQL from 2008R2 to 2016.

Is Sage 300 ERP 2014 compatible with SQL Server 2016?

Sage 300 has always been a vanilla SQL app. No triggers, no store procedures, no Windows security. The only issues are that older versions of Accpac need to use the classic SQL server DSN. I have a client on Sage 5.5 and SQL 2016.
