Don't update the tables directly.  You'll want to use a macro or look at IMan by Realisable.  It can handle the update process without you having to write any code and it can be scheduled to run automatically.  A macro can do the same work as IMan does but you'll have to write all of the code yourself.

Okay thanks, what about using SDATA for the import?

I suppose that's possible to do via SDATA but I suspect you'd be on the bleeding edge in that regard and you wouldn't be able to get support from anyone here.  You might only be able to get support from Sage Development and that will cost you $1500 just to ask your first question.

So if I take on using Macros in VBA. What would be the best way to interface/communicate with a website coded in PHP and using a mySQL database? I want updates in Accpac to appear on the website, and updates on the website to appear in Accpac.

Now you're adding new variables to the original question.  "Communicating with a website" is too large a concept to answer without more details.  What are your options for updating the website pricing now?

I would suggest having the PHP script generate a CSV file while it is updating the web pricing tables.  That CSV file could be used to import the prices into Sage with a simple click of File, Import.  I doubt that you want to take on having a VBA macro try to talk with your website through any sort of web/Internet protocol.  It can do it but you'll have to do a lot of leg work.  Depending on the version of PHP you're using you might even be able to automate Sage.  (php.net/.../intro.com.php)

I've opened the session, initialized it and signed into the company. The part I'm stuck at is this:

You're calling the OpenDBLink method with strings, i.e., "DBLINK_COMPANY", but it's not a string, it's an ENUM.

You are right, I shouldn't be using strings. What parameters should I use for the OpenDBLink method? Should I open another com object (maybe for system manager)?

Record a VBA macro of the process that you want to duplicate.  Then look at the VBA code.  Right-click on the parameter values and select definition.  You'll get the answers you're looking for.

Great I was able to make it work using that method. Now I'm on to the next part which is working with views. I'll post here if I have any more questions!

Do you know how to define this ICITEM_T1header variable in PHP?

How did you define your DBLink variable?  It would normally be declared as AccpacCOMAPI.AccpacDBLink so the declaration of the view object variable shouldn't be far off.
