day end processing

Description: Internal error. missing posting table entry (1697 PORCPZ1.C).

Description: Day End Processing could not process all transactions.

what could be the issue?

Your PO data is hosed. Check with a data repair company like Musick Int.

I found some inconsistent records in PORCPI which i removed. The process is now fine. Thanks.

Be sure to verify the remaining tables for the receipt. Removing the record from PORCPI will get day end to run, but if this receipt is out of sync, it will show up later as another day end error. The problem snowballs.
