MS SQL server 2012, Sage 300 2014 PU 3

I am trying to restore a test database using the most recent backup of its associated production database - in SQL Server Management Studio. I am restoring to another name and that task completes without errors.

I have already created this another name database in SQL and once it is loaded, I set it up in Sage Database setup. All good.

When I try to open this company in Sage I get the message 'The database profile refers to a database which was created with database ID the production database that I restored from'   and when push OK ithe open company dialogue box goes back to the production company.

For smaller databases, Sage db load works; for larger databases, I am trying to use SQL restore.

Does anyone have some information on this?
