Sage 300 typically uses a database backup system where you back up the entire database. Is it possible to extract specific period from the entire database, i.e. Jan 2020 to Dec 2021 only.

can you explain further. I saw this online "If you're trying to restore data from a backup for a specific period, you would typically restore the entire backup to a separate environment and then extract the data you need using Sage 300's reporting or querying tools."

I'm wondering what Sage 300's reporting and querying tools it is referring to.

The reporting and querying tools that are built into Sage. Like Financial Reporter.
