How many files are in the folder where the paperless office files save?  I have seen too many files (over 5,000 on some systems) will slow the generation of paperless office down.  I usually migrate the old files into a history folder occasionally to make the creation faster.

Similar issue. Customer has a couple hundred thousand records in the paperless folder. Printing using paperless just started to really slow down today. VPN/RDP users don't have the issue and printing to paperless on the server isn't an issue. It's just for users in the office. I'm having the folder significantly reduced to see if that makes a difference but why would it be fine for rdp users?

Check if there is a slow network connection (like using wireless instead of wired connections), and any office printers (Windows print objects) that are in an error status.
