RESPAWN LIMIT EXCEEDED - NEW INSTALLATION OF SAGE X3 V7

SUGGESTED

The following steps have been performed

1.       Install MS SQL 2012 (Install Named Instance, Collation – Latin General Binary sort)
2.       Open SQL Port 1434 in windows firewall
3.       Created windows users with admin right and set to log as service
4.       Opened posrt 1818 and 1819 in windows firewall
5.       Installed Safe X3 AdxAdmin (Port 1818)
6.       Install Database Component
7.       Install Application Component
8.       Install Process Server component (Port – 1819)
9.       Install Apache 2.2 (Port – 80)
10.   Configure Console
11.   Install MongoDB (Add MongoDB service) – Port 27017
12.   Install Elastic Search – Port 9300, Port 9200 all opened in Windows firewall
13.   Install Syracuse. Port 8124 (Opened Port in windows firewall. Linked to the Serial_Adonix license file 
14.   Tried to Open path got error below

"Respawn Limit Exceeded. Application cannot be started" 

We have attempted to reinstall but same error exists

Can anyone please advise if they have ever received this error before.

    Hello,


    The issue could be related to your license, starting with V7 you should request a new license file from Sage in your country

    In other words the Serial_adonix ( which is the V6 license file ) will not work with V7, instead you would need a new license file that has JSON extension.

    i am also getting same error but i have loaded v7 license i.e; json extrention

    Sudesh,

    This is normally the result of an incorrect license. The installed version and the license version must match. You cannot use a license for version 7 on an install for Product Update 8, for example. A new license would be required for each major version.

    You can verify the version your license is valid for by opening the .json file up within a text editor.

    If the licensed version does not match your installed version you will need to contact Sage for a new license.

    Hi Casey,

         My customer's production server also encountering this issue, after a windows update and restart of windows server.  

    "Respawn Limit Exceeded. Application cannot be started" 

    The server went through a minor patching from V9 to V9.3 last month. The new version was running fine after the upgrade. 

    I'm worry that although the recommended Syracuse for V9.3 is Syracuse 9.3 but Syracuse 9.10 is installed. Will this be a problem?

    During troubleshooting, we found that SQL service was unable to start because "the SQL server evaluation period has expired". The technical consultant missed out entering proper SQL license key during SQL installation. After entering the correct license, the SQL service was started successfully. 

    However, this error still exist while trying to access Sage X3. 

    How can we try to upload the license again to the administrator license upload, because we cannot even access to the login page of Sage X3.  

     

    Any pointer or thoughts on this problem is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
