What is a Product usage and where to find it?

A Product usage functionality is used to display a historical usage of a product in a rolling 36 months view. The amounts are the total product consumption each month including sales, miscellaneous issues and inter-site transfers.

An access to the product usage can be found on a Purchase order Line in the Ordered qty field.

Also, Enterprise planning, Purchase planning and Grouping workbench can launch Product usage from the action menu for any POS line.

When the Product usage window is launched, it will display a three-year history of product usage by month, where the current month is determined by the system date. The data displayed on the Product usage charts can come from a validated Sales order delivery or a WO Production tracking or a Stock Miscellaneous issue.
