Voiding a credit card settlement

SUGGESTED

I do not want to void the credit card payment, but for some reason I have transactions that were settled on different dates that over-lap a month.  As in, part of the settled transaction hit in July and part in August.  Which means I can't move forward with my reconciliation unless I can void the settlement and re-settle the transactions.

Any help???  I can't find anything on doing this.  I tried voiding a bank transaction, but Businessworks doesn't seem to allow you to select a credit card settlement to void.

Thanks

In our Knowledge Base at www.SageKB.com there is a Knowledge Base article - #45585 "How to void a credit card settlement and fees" .  In the article it explains:

When a credit card settlement is posted into Cash Management:

    • A deposit is posted for the credit cards
    • A charge is posted for the credit card fees

To void a settled credit card transaction, use CM, Transactions, Void Bank Transactions

    • Void the deposit for the credit card settlement
    • Void the charge for the credit card fees.

So you will want to select Deposit when you are in Void Bank Transactions.

    Thanks,

Also, it does not show back up in the Credit Card Settlement tab as a option to settle again.  So this does not work.
