Customizing Shortcuts in Sage Accpac Portal

Need to access Sage ERP Accpac Desktop UI screens from the Sage ERP Accpac Portal? You can create shortcuts to screens you frequently use such as the Invoice Entry or GL Journal Entry screens. You can also create shortcuts to any of the reports found in Sage Accpac Desktop such as AP Transaction reports. You can create shortcuts for standard reports as well. So in this example to create a shortcut to the Receipts Report:

   1. Click Customize Shortcuts.
   2. Select Accounts Receivable from the Category list.
   3. Click the plus sign on the Receipts icon to add the shortcut to Portal.
   4. Double click on the Receipt shortcut in Portal and select either the standard or custom form you created for this report.

There have been questions about the ability to create shortcuts to custom reports. At this time, you cannot create a custom shortcut to a customized report when the report is not listed on the Portal customized shortcut screen when you click on Customize Shortcut.
