"brea"Randy Jackson is CEO of Agate Consulting & Training Inc. and oversees the consulting, training, and customization, as well as service and support programs for a broad base of national and international clients. He enjoys assisting client staff in creating and building foundational tools and skills they can utilize daily to improve productivity and business management efficiency. His education and background include studies in business and economics at Laurentian and Waterloo Universities, Sage Platinum Certified Consultant (since the 1990s), and Sage Certified Trainer (2010). With extensive experience in accounting, business knowledge, and financial software expertise using products such as Sage 50 Accounting— Canadian Edition (formerly Simply Accounting), Sage 300 (formerly Accpac), Sage BusinessVision Accounting, and Sage One, as well as QuickBooks and tax programs, he offers excellent strategies to understanding problems encountered regularly by small to large companies. Randy has had the pleasure of working directly with the Sage product development team beta testing versions of Sage 50. Prior to being self-employed, he was the director of finance of an Ontario hospital, where he developed and implemented the hospital’s primary computer services department. When he’s not assisting customers, Randy enjoys gardening, reading, and travelling. |
