Microsoft Windows 11 was released on 5th October 2021. Sage CRM 2022 R1 is currently in development and is due to be released at the end of January 2022. Windows 11 is being tested with Sage CRM and will be supported for Sage CRM 2022 R1 onwards.
Internet Explorer 11
We announced in May 2021 that Sage CRM 2021 R2 would be the last version to have its User Interface tested using Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 (IE11). Support for IE11 as a browser will therefore end from Sage CRM 2022 R1.

For some features, Sage CRM has relied on IE11 installed on client machines to take advantage of the ActiveX technology to provide behaviour that can't yet be replicated in HTML5. Outlook integration and document editing are the last components to be addressed.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 is not supported on Microsoft Windows 11 and cannot be installed on the Operating System. This means that features within Sage CRM that use ActiveX technology will not work within Windows 11.
Starting June 15, 2022, the IE11 desktop application will no longer be supported on Windows 10.

Sage is currently redesigning its Email Management features for Sage CRM 2022 R2 due to be released end of July 2022. This redesign will remove all dependency on browser plugins.
This applies to Sage CRM stand-alone and when integrated with Sage accounting products. Sage 50, Sage 100, Sage 200, Sage 1000, Sage 300, Sage X3 and Sage Intacct.
