Importing CSV files in to Sage as Journal's Credits/Debits?

Question

We import CSV files into Sage as Journal's Credits/Debits are these still acceptable with Making Tax Digital?
The CSV files are created by a piece of software (Windows Service) that connects to a Web API to access the data then builds the CSV file. The CSV file is then imported into Sage. As there is no Copy/Paste of data is this still acceptable method of importing data as well as Journalling?

 Thanks for using Sage City. 
 Only the submission of the VAT Return has changed to a different module, the way you process your accounts will remain the same. In v25.1 of Sage 50cloud Accounts we now allow you to put attachments on the VAT Return to backup any adjustments that supports the figures.
