Sage Backups

I have set up scheduled backups and have noticed that they are smaller than when I do a manual backup. 

I have checked and can confirm that I have made the same selections in both the scheduled and manual backup (accounts data), but there is around a 30MB difference in file size.

Has anyone else seen this issue?

    I checked this with our product development team.

    The two methods of creating backups both achieve the same end result but they do it in slightly different ways and I suspect ths is where the discrepancy comes from. One method creates a backup file directly and the other copies a folder based on your selections and then compresses it. The two methods can lead to differences in sizes but if the selections are the same, the data contained in the backup will be the same so the only difference is in file size, not content.
