I have an employee who reached maximum on the first threshold of CPP - but the system didn't deduct anything from CPP2.
If i create a pay for the next period, it starts deducting from CPP2. Should these deductions appear at the same time on the paycheque…
When I go to create a paycheque in Sage 50c, Sage does not seem to automatically calculate CPP, EI or taxes until I actually click on the box where it should calculate it. Is that normal?
I have an employee who moved to Ontario from Quebec last year - now Sage is telling me I need to produce separate T4s for CPP / QPP

Okay, so I entered my reg hours and the taxes were set up correctly (ei=1.4), but when i check my expenses, it shows what came off my cheque, not what my employer put in for ei... Is this correct? if not, how do i go about fixing this?
