I am having trouble downloading the latest update and I am trying to run payroll. The message for updating is the same as always, but it never seems to get passed that and is stuck in download mode. I've got images embedded below.

Ok I have been at this for hours. I am a computer technician so I am used to this sort of thing but this is getting excessive. I have been asked to solve this problem.
Absolutely clean for spyware/malware. Running avast and that comes up clean as well…
