    Hello

The message we see there indicates that the installer is not able to replace or remove the mentioned file which is in the system folder, which could be related to either the file in use, or your access to the files in the folder.

In Windows, you can apply permissions to subfolders and files of your system folder ( C:\classicnew" using the Security tab in the folder or file properties. Here's a step-by-step guide:

    1. Navigate to the folder or file: Locate the folder or file for which you want to set permissions.

    2. Right-click on the folder or file: This will open a context menu.

    3. Select "Properties": This will open the Properties window for the selected folder or file.

    4. Go to the "Security" tab: In the Properties window, click on the "Security" tab. Here you'll see a list of users and groups with their associated permissions.

    5. Click "Edit": This will allow you to modify the permissions.

    6. Click "Add": If the user or group you want to assign permissions to isn't listed, you can add them here.

    7. Select the user or group: In the "Select Users or Groups" window, enter the name of the user or group you want to add and click "Check Names" to validate. Then click "OK".

    8. Choose the permissions: In the "Permissions for [user or group]" section, select the permissions you want to assign. You can allow or deny various actions like reading, writing, executing, etc.

    9. Apply the changes: After selecting the desired permissions, click "Apply" and then "OK" to close the windows.

    10. Apply to subfolders and files: If you want these permissions to apply to all subfolders and files within the folder, you can check the option "Replace all child object permissions with inheritable permissions from this object". This will propagate the permissions down to all subfolders and files.

    11. Confirm changes: You might receive a confirmation dialog box depending on the permissions you're changing. Confirm the changes if prompted.

    12. Close the Properties window: Once you've applied the permissions, close the Properties window.

If the issue persist, please reach out to your Business Partner or Sage Customer Support for assistance.
