Good day,
Are you aware that the Namibia government has passed a new Gazette, on 29 December 2022, which changes the tax deductible limit on all retirement funds and study polices? Please see attached the document changes as summarized by Deloitte, as well as the actual Gazette. The previous limit was N$40,000 p.a, whereas the new limit is now N$ 150,000 p.a.
Kindly advise when will this be built into the tax modules for Namibia?
