Good day. When making a backup in Sage 200c the system saves the backup in the default location as given on the backup screen. Once saved there you can move it to another location should you wish to do so.

Hi Francois, yes it did. Although it would have been more convenient to change the default location and automate backup.

At this point in time there is no plan to make changes to the system to allow the change in default backup location, since the system allows the user to copy the backup and remove the backup from the default location, once done.
We will however escalate your request to our development team.
The system does not provide automated backup function, however your IT team can schedule automated backups to be done by third party software, which should only be done after hours when no users are accessing the application and the data.
