UPDATE | UIF Limit Increase - 1 June 2021

The UIF contribution limit has increased to R17 712 per month effective 1 June 2021.

Therefore, from 1 June 2021, the UIF contribution limit is aligned with the UIF benefit limit.

The changes will be implemented via an Update, once the date for the update has been announced we will communicate it.

  • The UIF limit changes will be applied via a software update, and this update will be live on Friday, 11 June 2021.  The UIF calculation is based on Month to date figures, so any under deductions in a weekly or bi-weekly profile will be recovered in the period when the update has gone live.
