The best advise I can give you at this stage is to seriously consider start purging old customer history.

Do this as follow:

1. Decide and agree on transactions older than which date should be purged

2. Backup the company and ensure all other users are logged out

3. Now go  to Customers | Maintenance | purge Transactions

4. Complete the screen as appropriate and start the purge. 

Note that no customers' balances will be affected in any way and that only FULLY allocated transactions are removed form the database.

Now try to open the Allocation screen and check if there are any speed performances

Thanks.

On a test database, I have purge all customer transactions older than 1st of Jan 2020. 

But the problem still persists.

I tried to open that same customer, "The Shop" and Evolution has frozen..

From SQL Profiler, I see the batch started/completed to retrieve "The Shop" data/query and yet Alloc screen does not appear.

I did the Refresh view routine, unfortunately it hasn't improved at all.

I have even purged data up to June 2020.

But there is hardly any noticeable improvements.
