Why would this happen what is the logic

If you run the valuation report under reports and leave date as today, they are showing with values.

If you run through enquiries, valuation by date at Jan they are there with values but at Feb they have no values…

They are showing as in stock in the Feb valuation by date but at ZERO value

We have picked up an issue on this and believe sage needs to look at this as a bug and fix

If you create a new item receive into stock and bin - then do a bin transfer the cost is not transferred with to the new bin - so the valuation report both via the enquiry and standard by date brings through a zero cost. This needs to be sorted ASAP please

Please confirm the following:

1. Sage Evolution version?

2. Have you perhaps activated Cost per Warehouse, or are you still running Cost per Item?

3. Are you aware of the Save Valuation button that you should press on the Inventory | Enquiries | Valuation by Date utility (after setting it up for a specific month)?

They on version 11.0.1.5 - cant upgrade to 11.0.4 because it gives errors - tried this on 2 other customers - same issue.

did copy copany as sage suggested but same problem - reference HD15379357.

they were on cost per item - tested by making it cost per warehouse - same problem.

if you run the valuation report as at norm (today) alls fine, if you run the valuation by date under enquiries - it brings up 0 values.

seems to only be for new items - as i tested it on old items and it works. - however items in reference were created in January and they only implemented this procedure in February.

also only impacts new items that have done bin transfers.

we have used the save valuation report function - same problem.

I'm busy downloading 11.0.3 to see if i can upgrade to that without errors.

bear in mind - i have put an incident through to sage regarding the upgrade to ver 11.0.4 but have had no feedback as yet - since last week
