doubled income because of linked bank account

Question

I&rsquo;m not an accountant, but I muddle my way through some issues as a business owner. 
 My sales revenue is showing double because I have a linked bank account which is importing all my transactions from the bank. I also have invoices and payments on the invoices. Because of this every time i enter a payment to an invoice the income is doubled. 
 How can I address this?

Hi Bryan Compton 
 Since you are manually posting Payments on invoices, no need to record those incoming bank transactions again, you can simply delete them. 
 Otherwise, you can create invoices, once the payment get downloaded from your bank, use Match feature to reconcile against an invoice.
