Time Matters 2006

SOLVED

Is Time Matters 2006 compatible with Windows Server 2022 Essentials?  Should I have concern about copying the software and database to the new server?

This site is for questions regarding Sage Timeslips. If you are inquiring about Timeslips 2006, it is not tested by Sage and we have anecdotally had some reports of minor issues on modern operating systems like Windows 10/11 or Server 2016/2019/2022.

You would need to refer to the vendor that manufactures TimeMatters for questions on their software.

We do not have a comprehensive or confirmed list of issues, Pete, so we cannot say definitively.  As stated above, Sage has had anecdotal reports of folks having had some issues that were noticed by users in the field on Windows 10 and 11.

Obviously using software created 17+ years ago in a modern environment would be less than optimal, and it would be irresponsible for a vendor to recommend usage in an untested environment.

Sage only tests our current products on supported operating systems.
