When will MyAssistant for Sage 300 CRE 22.x be released?

SOLVED

We are planning to send tax forms to employees via MyAssistant. Heck, using MA, we have already gotten consent from over 500 of our staff to do so. We send our weekly payroll stubs via MA as well.

Forcing the upgrade to Sage 300 CRE 22.x before MyAssistant is available throws this whole process seriously out of whack.

Is the current June-2021 version of MA compatible with Sage 22.x?

Brian - I am with you on this one!  We will need to know this before upgrading, as we too have weekly stubs that go out and the timing has to be perfect.  SAGE - Please answer asap as many contractors are already working on tight schedules with year-end, holidays, etc. and we must coordinate with IT with the same tight schedules.

I also would like to know when this is going to be available as I've heard MYA version 20 is not compatible with 22.2.  I can't believe Sage is ignoring this post!  Year end is stressful enough for everyone and to not be able to get answers to critical components is quick frankly unacceptable conduct from Sage.

I agree with everyone here.  We need to know if MA version 20 is compatible with 22.2.  If not, when will the updated compatible version of MA become available?  It has to be ASAP.  It does feel like Sage is ignoring this question.  I am fortunate that our office is closed between the holidays.  It's prime time to update Sage to 22.2.  However I can't break My Assistant as we are using that for Direct Deposit notifications weekly and EFT notifications.  Sage you are putting so many of your customers between a rock and a hard place.  How can you not see these pieces of software go together?  Please help us understand.

A simple clarification at this point that MA will or won't work would go a long way. I'd like to say I can't believe this, but Sage never seems to get the gist of how stressful year end can be for a lot of us. We do it on our businesses time schedule, not theirs.

I just got off a chat session with support asking this question and was told:

"Currently we don't have a release of MyAssistant compatible with 22.2, however we are planning to release that compatible version of MyAssistant shortly. It should launch within the next week or so."

Fully agree with everyone that this would have been an easy piece of information to include with their release notes for v22.2 or anywhere in the Knowledgebase.

    Hi Brian,

I apologize for the delay. The release is almost ready, we are performing the final testing and getting the documentation ready and will release the announcement once that's complete.

Thanks for your patience, Keep an eye out for the announcement coming soon!

I would like to reiterate that everyone on here should be rightfully frustrated!  This is that Sage doesn't have a MyA version ready for Sage 22.2 ... so all of us that USE the features of MyA are just?  This weekend was the only one available for me to install the Sage upgrade and for you to just release the compatibility chart yesterday showing MyA 20.3.5 NOT compatible with 22.2 is very frustrating.  Your Product Documents page showed information on MyA 22.1 so I went ahead with the Sage 22.2 upgrade ... then now I can't find the 22.1 MyA download?  So I have now installed Sage 22.2 and hope that you get the MyA released in the next couple of days so our PayStubs can be sent out on Friday like usual without causing all of us (Your Customers!) a bunch of extra headaches beyond the usual year end stress.

Yes, it is very frustrating but it is what many of us have come to expect with Sage particularly at year end.  Only difference this time is they can't pass the blame due to 1099 or other government changes. I have no idea how may use MyAssistant but I can't imagine releasing an upgrade for Sage CRE without being ready to release the MyA upgrade at the same time.

I also couldn't agree more.  This is extremely frustrating and totally unacceptable.  I am lucky enough to have a window to update Sage which I know many users are struggling with this.  But if the My Assistant update is not available this week, I will be forced to upgrade Sage knowing that it will break My Assistant which will impact our workflow tremendously.  It just shouldn't be this way!!!!
