We recently migrated our local server installation of Sage 300 CRE to another server. (Sage V. 20.5.1)

Since then, all users are prompted to login to a DB whenever they preview an invoice in Service Mgt.

Sage support has not been able to resolve this. My Assistant works with the same reports, so that leads us to think the reports are fine.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!

So the login screen that appears shows Server Name: "Timberline DataSource" on the first line.

I would suspect that this did not happen:

"D. Upgrade data files

If you upgraded to a new version of Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate, read and follow the

information in this section.

If this is a first-time installation, skip to "F. Install Crystal Reports Designer (optional)" on page 17.

Caution! Service Management, Purchasing, and Inventory have specific upgrade requirements.

First, log onto the file server as an administrator. Then open and upgrade Service Management,

Purchasing, and Inventory data files at the server the first time you open these applications.

Upgrading this data on a workstation will incorrectly set DSNs and cause data access errors after

the upgrade is completed."
