Yes we experienced the same issue when we moved to the cloud. We havent fully resolved the issue but moving old jobs to history has helped to speed up Sage.

Check to make sure if you have antivirus on the server like (Webroot) that you make sure it is not scanning any sage directories.  Also, if you have not archived as Stacy suggest that will make a huge improvement.  Those two things are usually the answer. .  

If your Log Viewer file is quite large, that can also impact performance. See Knowledgebase article 100808 Issues caused by a large Log Viewer file (QLM)

We had a similiar incident, Clean up your old files, move your acconting files you no longer need, your "junk" files, empty everything you can, it wont rectify the issue but it does help for sure. We ended up upgrading & putting more memory into our server & that did do the trick.  Seems lately the more memory & space you have the quicker the modules run. In our experience most anti virus' are not user friendly with Timerbline, they will def. slow ya down some. Good Luck Im curious to see how you fix the issue. .
