Prefix A, Prefix B, Prefix C

We have been using Sage 300 and have gone through a company reorg, so instead of separate companies all companies are now divisions/departments under one corporation. I would like to change our GL accounting. We have only used Prefix A and Prefix B in the past. When I click on GL Setup/Prefix/Base - only Company/Department are showing up as options. What happened to Prefix C? Is their a setting change somehwere that I need to change so that I can use all 3 prefix options? Thanks.

To change your setup would require a key change to be performed by Sage Support for a fee. Please contact support and explain what you would like to do and they can provide a quote. All of your data files are structured with your initial settings. To perform a key change requires you make a backup of your file and send it to Sage at the end of a day. The following day they will work on the key change, restructuring all of your data files to the new format that you want to use, and will return your data file to you at the end of the day. So you will have one day without use of your system.
