Hi KNelson. When you attach a file to any record, it can only be saved in the Attachments folder for that company database. The other option is to save it as link to another location on the network, but that does not create a physical copy of the attachment file and the file is moved, deleted, or renamed in that location it will no longer be accessible in Sage.
Wright Office Solutions offers an app that relocates all attachments to a folder outside the company folder.
it sweeps the Sage location and relocates them. It also checks for broken links. A great solution before your nightly backups get too large to run
