Is Alchemex software for Intelligence Reporter Required?

I began using Intelligence Reporter and when I attempted to run the Balance Sheet - Actual vs Prior report I got the message " Layout Generation Error - Please make sure that you have the latest Alchemex software components installed" and then Intelligence Reporter produced a file with no Report.

QUESTION: Do I need to install the Alchemex software in order to use the Intelligence Report Manager?

Sage Intelligence was originally created by a company in So Africa called Alchemex. Sage rebranded it and it is embedded within Sage 50. Unfortunately, it is being retired and Sage is recommending a new report writer called XLGL. If you would like to get some more details about XLGL, please contact me at [email protected]
