Sage Maintained payroll

If i subscribe to a business plan that includes payroll, should anything be showing at all in the formula id field when I open up Sage maintained or user maintained formulas because mine is not showing anything and when in Sage maintained, it shows all the state ids in drop down list, all except the state I am in?

    Only the states that have State and Local Tax Codes will show up in the Sage Maintained Payroll Formulas area. The exception to this is typically State Unemployment, which must be setup in the User Maintained Payroll Formulas. Every now and then, we run into a State that has a Local Tax Code, i.e., School Taxes, etc. that is not in the Sage Maintained Payroll Formulas area. When that happens, we create a Payroll Formula for that purpose in the User Maintained Payroll Formulas.
