SOLVED

I am having an issue with a workstation

new Windows 10 computer, installed the Mas500 2019 client

When the user tries to run the Aged Receivables, he gets an error

I have reinstalled the 2019 Client

I have reinstalled .net 3.5 and .net 4.8

I have installed the crystal reports engine

This is an old post and your reply is not entirely accurate as changing the business desktop launcher permissions in this way is a troubleshooting technique. The different deployment methods and group policy or user account restrictions may not allow a user to run the desktop as administrator. Also, the Crystal Config Utility was specifically designed to add a config file to some of the report exes that adds attributes when launching some report tasks because of issues with Crystal Reports version incompatibility.

From an installation perspective, you have to coordinate the client deployment within the applicable environment and policies. If you are running multiple versions of Crystal, or using an application that installs an updated Crystal runtime engine, then the Crystal Config Utility may resolve report launch problems.
