Export to Excel Table - Unformatted

I'm looking for pointers on exporting data from Sage 100 into an Excel table with no page formatting. I can build queries to populate the required columns of information, but clicking the export button always renders a file with page header rows, page break rows, and footer rows. I'm looking for a form that just exports the data without the unwanted formatting.

Have you tried to build a query in Excel or import the tables into Access and then create a query to get the data set you want.

No... I'm relatively new to Sage and started with the functions within Sage. Is there any good reference material on connecting Excel to the Sage DB and how to formulate the queries?

Not really. Just open Excel, go to Data, Get External Data From Other Sources, From Microsoft Query. Pretty easy to figure out from there.

You'll need the 64-bit ODBC driver installed on your workstation.
