New to Sage 100, need to customize some defaults and to access Crystal Reports

I won't go into great detail but I am not getting the training I need from my employer and joined here to find answers to questions that I should be able to find myself in a normal working environment. I would like to fix the alignment for check printing and was told I need to call a software consultant who will remotely access Crystal to do that. Looking at past billing, they charge a lot to do what I used to do in Peachtree, but I can't find Crystal Reports and maybe it isn't even installed on my pc, just don't know. Secondly I would like to change certain defaults, the font is too small overall and I don't want to change the resolution on the monitor, and most important, we have three part checks and the system defaults to printing two part checks, which can be a headache if you're in a hurry. I know I was able to customize almost everything in Peachtree and had worked on MAS90 in a dos box years ago, so I am not exactly new to an accounting package but am new to the fact that we have to call a consultant to do everything I should be able to do in the program myself, so if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be helpful and sorry for the rambling on here.

Crystal is one of the easiest programs to self teach by reading and watching YouTube videos. As for installing it, on the server, under Work Station setup see if there is a folder for Crystal. You can install to your work station from there. Normally you do not change the fonts, you just zoom in, the default if small like 70-75% so zooming to 100% or 150% will do the trick. You can also take a class in Crystal either at SageU or even at some type of local learning center. And if you use anything but the Standard check form code you can default to three part checks by selecting your selections and then clicking on the Save button at the top right.

oh thanks so much, great advice! Now for the checks, you mean there is a save button in the print checks screen when I go to print checks, for example, for either A/P or P/R, or is this setting elsewhere? Sorry for being such a noob!

On the Print screen you will see a Save button.
