Don't use copy / paste. 

Save the image file to disk, at a larger size than you need.  Then in CR, use the Insert - Picture dialog, and resize within CR.

Within the report, you might also want to click File - Report Options and set this option.

Anywhere you want.  By "to disk" I meant saved as a separate image file, not embedded in a Word document. 

It just has to be an image file stored somewhere you can use the Insert - Picture dialog, and find the file.
